Welcome to the Web Site of the Oxfordshire Lodge of Installed Masters No 7770

The Oxfordshire Lodge of Installed Masters was Consecrated on 16th October 1961

We are a Masonic Lodge meeting at The Oxford Masonic Centre, 333 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 7PL.

An Installed Masters Lodge is, as its name implies, a Lodge for Masons who have been Installed in the Chair of King Solomon.  As such, we do not work the Ceremonies of Initiation, Passing or Raising.  Instead, our Lodge Meetings include a lecture, demonstration or play with a Masonic theme.

We plan to include visits to other Masonic Centres, to provide mentoring for new Masters and, from time to time, to hold "white table" meals after our meetings to enable partners to join with Members and their guests.

We meet on:

  • Third Monday in March

  • Third Monday in May

  • Last Saturday in September (Installation)

We work the Oxford Ritual.

We dine at The Oxford Masonic Centre, 333 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 7PL.

We are a thriving Lodge with a strong core membership but are always pleased to welcome Installed Masters of Lodges as Joining Members.

We believe in a marketing approach to Freemasonry which means we take great notice of our members' views and needs and continually seek to renew our Masonry while remaining true to the Tenets of the Craft.
